Type Typography No More

Well just in case you are interested in knowing I received my “Typography” project back and yes I passed.  J. I was dreading going to class today, because I thought I had received an ‘F’.  Won’t share the number grade with you but I did oh so much better on it than I expected.  I still need to pull myself up by my bootstraps and work a little harder but, at least I have that all behind me now.  Now we will get into the phone part of the class (for me that is) – not to say that the other was not creative, but it didn’t have Tiara written all over it if you know what I mean.

Here’s my own personal grading system that might help you feel better about a grade you received:

A: Always producing awesome work

B:  Be glad you didn’t get a ‘C’

C: Congratulations you it’s not a ‘D’

D: Delighted I didn’t get an ‘F’ and have to take this class over

F: Forget it it’s not happening this semester; try it again another time

Now for my “Typography” letter grade – Congratulations it’s not a D

Tiara - Hi, I’m Tiara Jackson. Currently I am a sophomore (1 class shy of being a junior) Public Relations Major. I’m a single mother of one and I am a student worker at ASU. I love ASU because it affords me the opportunity to go to a great school and work without neglecting my duties as a mother. The support that I have found here from faculty, staff, and most of all my fellow students have greatly exceeded any expectations I had before I started at ASU. I could have chosen a school in SC, where I live, but the location and the campus put ASU at the top of my list. I hope that my blog keeps you entertained about the ups, downs, and sideways of being a non traditional student at ASU. Happy reading.
