I am studying IT (Information Technology). I started college in Maryland in ‘95 and stopped short of receiving a degree to join the military. Now I’m a civilian and starting on my degrees.Currently I am a Sophomore working to be awarded an Associates Degree in Computer Science. For the past seven years I have been working in the field of Information Technology. It’s a field I enjoy ever since I was in my preteens, and I look forward to broadening my horizons.

This year is proving different than any other. Unlike the last time I was pursuing higher education I have a kid; I’m a single father. I find myself wanting to tire my little one out so I can attend to my school work, but the reverse actually happens usually. My little one does not hold me back, but I am doing everything to ensure I do not hold him back.

It is my hopes that in the end I will ascend into the ranks of executive officers. I hope to direct teams of Information Technology & Information System professions to achieve a Zen like technological setup. I have dealt with IT shops that had the worst infrastructure set in place and did not know how to change. Making disparate systems work well made me realize that I could make a difference.
