The Final Sprint!

Alright people, this is it, the moment we’ve been waiting for.
FINALS!

I don’t know about you guys, but I couldn’t be happier about having three big exams next week because I have most of the week off! Oh the joys of college. I don’t think I’ve ever had this much free time in my life and I still have work and play rehearsal to think about. Then again, maybe it isn’t that I have so much more free time than I used to but that I appreciate it more. Yes, that’s probably it. I mean, after all, you don’t know what you’ve got until you don’t have it anymore.

Though this seems like a pretty happy post, I must say that I’m incredibly frustrated. So, I’m not ashamed to say in learning support and unfortunately that means that I can’t register until I find out if I passed math 99. Ugh. This means that I can’t get the classes that I want. I honestly want to take English 1102 from my same professor but unfortunately she only has one 1102 class and it’s already full! I also want to take a yoga class and nope, all full. It’s ridiculous and unfair and I hate it. Sigh. Something seriously needs to be done about this system  because it’s not working for me! Or anyone for that matter!  But no worries, I will get the classes I want. It will all work out.

And you know what? I’m so incredibly happy and relieved right now that I’m actually able to come up with things creatively. Ah, so nice. I certainly hope everyone else is enjoying this.

Val - My name is Valerie England and I am a child of summer. Born in Washington State during one of the hottest summers on record, I am the youngest of four children and the only girl. For most of my life I’ve lived in Augusta with my family and though I’ve grown to appreciate the comforts of home, I plan to spend most of my life travelling and exploring the far corners of the earth. This is my dream. During my exploration of mother earth, I plan to write gobs of novels and short stories. Ever since I can remember, I have been a writer. When I was in elementary school I made my own notebooks from reams of computer paper and filled them with the bubbling over of my imagination. I think this is the only thing you really need to know about my past, the rest is rather boring. When I turned fourteen I started dancing and immediately fell in love. After two years of dancing recreationally I started competing and became addicted to the stage. Once I graduated high school I started teaching. It’s been a wonderful experience and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’m a nerd at heart, I love learning and I just can’t seem to get enough which is why I made the decision to attend university. Questions are my main form of speech, if I’m not asking them it means that I’m daydreaming or pondering over what happened in the previous night’s episode of Doctor Who (my newest nerdy obsession). To sum things up, I’m a restless writer who dreams with the best of them and plans to leave my footprints across the globe. Welcome to my journey!
