The 1st year…

Leaving for college was something I learned to loath and love. I grew up in Atlanta, which is a major city, and coming to Augusta was a huge transition, but I am all for change and challenges. The change of course is moving from “hot-lanta” to augusta. The challenge was now school, meeting new friends, and living on your own(with a roomie of course).

I reside in the village and its def not your average dormitory. It has the luxuries of having a kitchen, space, and free cable. They have student activites that are just for us”villagers”.  The village is equipped with a shuttle bus that takes you to school and the gym in a very timely manner! I am begining to get adjusted to this new way of life. Of course I miss the city night life compared to Augusta’s calming quiteness. But I do enjoy the cultural diversity the school has to offer and I even enjoy the small town vibe of everybody knowing everbody. Now all I have to do is liven this city up a bit!!
