As my title states, Rock has Returned to Augusta. Finally Yesterday I had the privilege to attend the acoustic performance of Sick Puppies and Adelitias Way on campus. I always love when bands are given the chance to show another side of themselves, open more of their songs to their fans and to those who may have stumbled upon the free show. After their set, Sick Puppies stuck around to meet with all their fans and sign just about anything students had on hand. Items ranged from CDs to a laptop.

Later on in the evening, these two bands joined Cycle of Pain and the headlining act, Shinedown at the Bell Auditorium. The show was part of 95 Rock’s 11th Birthday Bash. And what a bash it was. My ears are still ringing from the music! Needless to say, if demanded more, more shows like yesterdays free performance and last night’s main event can continue to happen! So all you Rock loving kids out there, Demand the shows and Go when they are here!
