Kelsey Land

My name is Kelsey Land and I am a sophomore here at ASU. I have six brothers and sisters, TONS of nieces and nephews, and two very wonderful parents. I am the second youngest of all seven, but also, the youngest girl out of all five. SO, you could say I’m a big daddy’s girl. My family lives in Savannah, Ga and I decided some time during my senior year of high school to take a step out into the big girl world and move by myself to a place that I did not know anyone. That place happened to be the lovely city Disgusta.. opps I meant Augusta. Moving here was probably one of my best decisions ever. I have made the most amazing friends and have had a TON of irreplaceable memories.

My major is Social Work, although like most people, I have changed it many times. When I was younger, my dream was to be Ms. America.. then I actually watched the pageant, and realized it wasn’t for me, seeing how I was a huge tomboy. I don’t think that playing basketball, volleyball, or soccer would count as a adequate talent. Professional basketball was the next on my list, but seeing how I am about a tall as the other players knees I didn’t think it would be the best idea either. Then I began my long journey of finding a major. After changing from Biology, Education, Music, and Sociology, I met a social work major. After speaking to countless advisers, social work was my final decision. I am 100% sure it is for me. My dream is to help children get adopted into good homes, and be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

I enjoy hanging out with my friends, mountain biking, watching movies, riding horses, and basically any sport EVER. I am always on campus and somehow randomly find a way to be involved in everything. I am really excited to be able to share my thoughts an experiences through this blog, and I would also would like to share them through photographs as well. Anyways, thats enough for now, check out my blogs!!!
