Just doing research …
… can be exhausting! I’ve spent the last hour looking for articles for a research paper and presentation, and sometimes I feel like Galileo and I are not speaking the same language. I’m spelling it right (that’s really important as I tell my middle schoolers), but Galileo does not turn up what I want. Actually the frustration begins because I have checked the full-text articles option, but I’m receiving articles that are NOT full-text. Then I have to hunt and see if that journal is available in the electronic journal collection … BTW, the librarian who is responsible for adding so many electronic journals is a genius! … but sometimes the electronic journal that we have has the same name as the one that I need, but it’s NOT the one that I want!
Well, I have nine articles. Hopefully that will be enough. I think that the problem is that I’d rather look for articles than sit down and read those that I have found so that I can write the paper. I guess it’s time to start reading …
