Jobs… lookout
As I continue to look for my first job in my career (and if I’m REALLY lucky- my only job
I have come across a lot of false hiring “companies.”
If you have a weird feeling about a company, there’s your first red flag (and hopefully your only one). Also, if you’ve never heard of a company- be suspicious. Google their name to see what shows up. Also, if they list a webpage on their job board (ex: yahoo jobs, monster.com…) and you can’t find it when you Google it (even if the link itself works)- there’s a big red flag.
I have found a great little site that has helped me figure out who’s worth my time: www.ripoffreport.com
Happy hunting!
