Call me J.P.. I am an undeclared Freshman at Augusta State University, and I am almost twenty-one years old. This is my first year in college.
I was born in Augusta, Georgia on October seventeenth, 1987. I went to Warren Road Elementary School, Tutt Middle School, and then I moved to Grand Junction, Colorado. I enrolled in Grand Junction High School, but not for long. I moved again several times. I have lived in Grand Junction, Colorado; Duluth, Minnesota; St. Paul, Minnesota; Rock Springs, Wyoming; and a few small towns in Montana.
I enjoy reading, and have worked in a local bookstore for almost a year. Some of my favorite authors are Ernest Hemingway, William Faulkner, and John Steinbeck. I recently opened “White Fang” and was reminded of my fondness for Jack London, too. I also love music, and have played guitar for about seven years (Note to my professors: If I forget your assignment, you can probably blame my guitar).
I am excited about beginning college here at ASU and looking forward to meeting new people. Feel free to say hey to me in the hallway sometime.
