Hair today… gone in a week.

Well if your a student at ASU hopefully you’ve hear about homecoming events that will be everywhere on campus next week. And if you’ve seen me around campus… or anywhere… you might know me by my extremely long hair. Next week for both ASU & Locks for Love I’ll be cutting my hair off to donate it all. I’m not going to lie I’m a bit nervous. I’ve never had my hair this short and I’m not quite sure if I’ll like it. If you have an open time slot I’ll be there at 1130 am at the JSAC Breezeway… you’re more than welcome to come up and watch this intense event.

But to expand on Locks for Love… this isn’t my first locks for love. The first time I cut my hair for Locks for Love was the Halloween of 2006. The night before the big day I was in Wal-Mart looking for foosball ball with a friend and a woman suddenly says to me… “I hope you never cut your hair.” Talk about crazy! There we stand, with the knowledge of tomorrows events, and this lady is basically telling me not to ever cut my hair. She was referring to a verse in the bible relating to how a woman’s hair is her glory. I broke the news that I was cutting my hair the next day for Locks for Love, although she seemed a bit sad she said it was for a good cause.

See you around =]

They wouldn’t let me participate for some reason.
But I would’ve liked to help!
