Fork in the Road
So many students when they start out have a plan of how things should go while in college. You take your courses and you graduate in four years right, but what happens when these plans are derailed ?? Throughout my experience in college I am not ashamed to admit that I took 5 years to complete an associate degree. When I started I thought ok I will go full time every semester even summer and finish quick but real life quickly brought reality. I could only go part time because I had to work full time.
My family and friends would often ask “what’s taking you so long?? , ” you aren’t finished yet??, “are you ever going to graduate?? It became discouraging at times but I just remembered one day I WILL graduate. I kept on going and eventually I was accepted and graduated so the moral of this all is don’t QUIT no matter how long it takes. Slow progress Is better than no progress
