FINALLY!

So midterm week is over! YES!! Out of the many years of me being at Augusta State, this has been the craziest “midterm experience”. My classes are on Tuesday and Thursday and when Thursday evening rolled around I was oh so tired. OH, speaking of Thursday evening! I was so frustrated. I had been working my butt off on an interdisciplinary essay for Humanities 2002. It ended up being 6 pages long and I was so proud of my creation. I get to class Thursday night, only to discover that we weren’t having class. The professor was “ill” and so we actually had until this coming Tuesday to turn in the essay. WTF!? I get home and check my email and he had emailed us like an hour and a half prior to class. I’m in another class then so how was I going to check my email? I was so mad. I wanted to have class and I wanted to bask in the glory of finishing my essay on time. Then after about 15 minutes, I calmed down and thanked God that we weren’t having class. 1) This gives me time to look over my work and adjust anything that I feel needs adjusting and 2) I don’t think I could retain any new information that would’ve been given out on China.

Now that midterms are over, I can share some of my focus on my photography and music. I still have 2 research papers to construct and 15 hours of observation to attend but I can do this.

OH, and I need someone to look at the schedule of breaks for the fall semester because there is too much of a gap between breaks. Unlike spring semester it seems like we have a break at least once a month and at least we have spring break to look forward to then. During the fall semester we look forward to Thanksgiving because it’s almost the end of the semester and most of us will be studying our butts of during that time to prep for finals. I know I will.
