Christopher Cummings

Hi, everyone, I am Christopher Cummings, you’re friendly-neighborhood college student. I am a Psychology major with a minor in Art at Augusta State University. It is my second year here and thus far I have enjoyed my experience. I work as a lifeguard at the Downtown Family Y of Augusta, so seeing me in all red on campus is a common sight to see. When I am not hitting the books or ensuring the safety of swimmers in three-foot deep pools, you can find me at the gym or doing artwork at any of the buildings on campus. Some of my interests are the movies, black and white traditional artwork, sports, and I have a hefty interest in all things psychology and comic books.

I am new to the area and I find there is much to be discovered here in Augusta. I attended Pinewood Christian Academy in Bellville, Ga. For pretty much everyone who does not know it is close to Statesboro, Ga. While there I competed in One-act Plays, played varsity football, and briefly competed in Literary and debate competition.

Prior to attending Augusta State University, I was a Biology major at Valdosta State University, and while I enjoyed the year there, I find that Augusta State is far more to my liking.
