Nursing is a growing profession and major at Augusta State University so I will give a little glimpse into my experience. As I sat in that chair on  August 16, 2007 I was scared ,excited,anxious and just happy so be on this journey. I never wanted anything so bad I had tried several majors , but all paths always lead back to nursing and finally I was in there. There were so many of us we didn’t know each other or the teachers but we all knew one thing we wanted to be nurses.

So as I sat there with my notepad and tried to take it all in, boy was I overwhelmed I mean here I had a book-list with 15 books, a syllabus that was one-hundred pages thick. When I left that day I thought dang can I really do this but something inside of me said you can and I began what would be the best and most challenging two years of my life.
