Moving On

My father was a United States Marine for 20 years. Because of his career, my family moved every two to three years. As a child, I didn’t like moving around. I was always having to readjust and make new friends. There was always something new and different to experience. I didn’t appreciate it then, but now I am grateful for my nomadic lifestyle. I had a unique childhood that has had a positive effect on my adult life. Now, I love to travel and feel cooped up if I’m in one place for too long. I’m moving to Columbia, S.C. in August so that I can begin law school. It feels good to add another city to my list of places I’ve lived.
