The Different Technological Advances on Campus
There are a lot of technology opportunities on campus for students to take advantage of. Everything that is on campus is new and for the students to advance in learning. Some of the technology on campus includes computers, scanners, rental of laptops, and much more. I take advantage of the wonderful technology that ASU have because we have to a technology fee every school year. Media Services have many opportunities they offer such as rooms for presentations, graphic programs, and other different programs. Media Services is a place where you feel like a “smart person.”
Some of the opportunities I have took advantage of was the presentation room in Media Services. In the room, I worked on a group project with my group members. I worked on a PowerPoint presentation that was due for a orientation class I have taken last semester. In addition, my group had to present our presentation to the class, so we had to practice. We had access to all sorts of things like videotapes, Cd’s, and a remote control to the audio in the presentation room. I was very amazed with all of the things I was exposed to.
In every situation dealing with a project or creating something for class, there are a lot of choices and options to choose from. There are no excuses for students to not to get work done in college. There are computer labs, Media Services, and study halls to get work done. All it takes is the effort and determination to get it done. What I think about is that a long time ago there use to be no opportunities for students going to college. In modern day, things have changed and made better for students so they would have the right to a fair education.
