Heaven and Chuck E. Cheese

Last week I invited my friend Dedra to dinner with my family. I was skeptical to invite Dedra because of our past dinner experiences (just know that hot chocolate and jumbo marshmallows were involved), but she was happy to join us at Ruby Tuesday. Apparently during dinner Dedra told my three-year-old cousin Heaven that I would be taking her to Chuck E. Cheese very soon. Heaven has now told everyone she meets that I will be taking her to Chuck E. Cheese. I’m writing this post to thank Dedra for telling Heaven I would take her to Chuck E. Cheese (please note the sarcasm here). I am also writing this as a preview of my post that will detail my journey to a child’s paradise with an energetic three-year-old.
