Time Management (TM)
Before returning to college, I thought I was a TM expert; managing at one point a full time job while serving as a Cub Scout Den Leader, and Co-Leaders of two Girl Scout troops. I used to joke that I would meet myself coming and going from the house.
Right here, right I pay homage to the TM skills of most college students. You have to keep up with the deadlines and due dates of 5-6 different professors, juggle time to work a part time or full time job, and carve out a little time for some semblance of a personal life. Add parenting into the mix for many students and stir well.
Humerously, since going back to college I have found myself attempting to unlock my front door using my car key electronic device, trying to unlock my car door by pushing a button on my cell phone, answering my cell phone when the microwave dings, and checking the microwave when the dryer dings. Please do not ring my door bell…..who know what I will do!
If you are a college student, give yourself a pat on the back for your Time Management skills.
