I am a freshman at Augusta State University, though I tell people I’m a sophomore simply because I’m one credit away. I major in English and minor in Professional Writing, and would also like to add some photography experience to my education.
I used to write for The Xtreme section in The Augusta Chronicle, and did a little bit of blogging for them. Now I work at the ASU Writing Center, I’m Executive Editor of Sorean: A Gothic Magazine where I’m in
charge of editing, writing articles, columns, reviews, interviews, fiction, seeking advertisements, and putting together the style guide, which dictates what style editors and writers should adhere to; I helped copy edit issue 5 of The Oddville press, and hope to help with issue 6, and I was also published in its issue 4; and lastly I’m a Communication and Editorial Intern for YALITCHAT, an organization for the advancement of young adult literature. I edit site and blog content, greet new members, run the newsletter–with Georgia McBride’s
help–and I recently began vetting queries–also with Georgia McBride’s help.
As well as being constantly busy, I am also working on a novel I hope to publish in the future. When I’m not busy, I’m either out taking photos with my Rebel T1i, spending time with my fiance, reading paranormal or dystopian YA fiction, playing video games, hanging with friends, or doing anything that comes to my mind.

Amber,
If you get a chance to read my blogs and make suggestions,
I’d appreciate it.
I’ve never done a blog before.
Thanks,
Lisa (one of the other ASU Diary Bloggers)
